The simplest thing to do is offer ten things you might not have already known about Central/The Friday Edition:

1. Friday Edition is published with some regularity, near or on Friday of every week.

2. We are Central. Our full name is the lofty title of “Central Office of Design”.

3. Friday Edition is simply the pursuit of the interesting for us.

4. This is a complete work in progress. We will constantly tinker, thus sometimes we’re likely to break the entire site by mistake.

5. Central is a design strategy firm. Meaning we tend to work inside of complex problems, helping people create solutions using a design process.

7. We are designers. Not mathematicians.

6. For our clients, we work across the spectrum in retail experience, system design, urban development, product design, interior and hospitality design, interaction, graphic space and service design.

8. We’ve not yet worked on an airport project.

9. We work on our own products and brands. From films, products, books to exhibitions.

10. We did intentionally make it difficult for you to anonymously peek at our previous work, because we consider it a much better story told if we had the chance to meet and have a conversation about it.

This doesn’t really count as an eleventh item, but we’re aware of some funkiness in IE/WIN browsers - for which we’re sorry - and are working on cleaning up our handy-work to make it a better viewing experience for all those (unknowingly?) suffering. For instance, in IE 6 on WINXP - you’re likely to have to scroll a long way down to see this paragraph.
